Breakfast at Tiffany's is one of my all time favorite movies, it is just so elegant and sad. There is just something about it that really speaks to me. I remember watching it as a small child and just being completely taken aback by the class and beauty of Audrey Hepburn. And lets be honest, what girl doesn't love Tiffany's?!
Being that I'm such an Audrey Hepburn fan and a Breakfast at Tiffany's fan obviously my inspiration for this mani came there. I threw on "Moon River" on my iTunes and went to town. Now this was not my idea, I am not cleaver enough to come up with this on my own. I frequent the amazing blog, http://chloesnails.blogspot.com/, on a pretty much daily basis and she does these INCREDIBLE patchwork manicures!
How amazing is that patchwork mani of her's above?! I am always in awe of her nails and when I envision what my nails will look like in my head usually they look like Chloesnails! However... they just don't seem to come together on my nails the way they do in my head.
I started out with a coat of China Glaze's Re-Fresh Mint.
Then I added the tape and put on a coat of China Glaze's Sea Spray.
Followed up by a final coat of my absolute favorite color right now, my obsession of all obsessions. I actually have bought three bottles of this color because I'm terrified of the day when it won't be available anymore, China Glaze's For Audrey. It is such a stunning color, it matches everything and it's just beautiful!
See... not even close to how incredible Chloe's Nails look! I guess I'll have to just keep practicing and see where it takes me! Ooh and I finished everything up with a thick coat of Seche Vite.
